- On August 5, 2020, eight new COVID-19 cases were reported in Saskatchewan, bringing the total number of cases to 1,376. Of the new cases, three are in the north east. two are in Saskatoon, one is in central west and two are in Regina.

- 36 more people have recovered, for a total of 1,133 recoveries.

- On August 6, 2020, 11 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Saskatchewan, bringing the provincial total to 1,387 cases. Of the new cases, nine are in south central zone, one is in Saskatoon and one is in the south west. Ten of the new cases are individuals living in communal settings.

- The province is reporting a 19th COVID-19-related death. This individual was in the Regina region and was in the 70-79 age range.
August 7, 2020
- On August 7, 2020, 23 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Saskatchewan, bringing the provincial total to 1,409 cases. Of the new cases, one is in the north west, three are in Saskatoon, two are in central east, two are in Regina, three are in the south west and 12 are in the south central zone. Nineteen of the new cases are people living in communal settings.

- The Government of Saskatchewan has announced that six million disposable masks have been purchased for schools, and the government is actively considering implementing a mandatory masking policy as outlined under Level 2 of the Safe School's Plan. Read more.

- On August 10, five new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Saskatchewan, bringing the provincial total to 1,450. Of the new cases, one is in Saskatoon, three are in Regina, and one is in the south central zone.

Eleven of the new cases in the Saskatoon zone are in a communal living setting outside the city.

- The package contains new information on the notification and illness process if a child, teacher or staff members tests positive for COVID-19, and guidance on further steps that could be taken including when individual students or cohorts should self-monitor or self-isolate.
