Join us on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at the Viterra International Trade Centre in Regina for the 2024 Education Conference, where SUN members will come together and raise our voices to bring our demands for safe staffing to all who will listen.
Rally for Safe Staffing
Bring those walking shoes and stay cozy and warm in your SUN Hoodies. Mid-conference, we’re taking our demand for safe staffing right to Premier Moe’s doorstep at the Legislature!
Inadequate staffing. Hallway nursing. Rising violence. Dangerous capacity levels. Running codes in waiting rooms. Reckless overtime demands. Unsafe work hours. Mentally, physically and emotionally exhausted registered nurses.
The list goes on, where registered nurses face unacceptable levels of risk. Our patients are put at risk daily by a health care system and government that will not invest in the frontline registered nurses and the direct patient care the people of Saskatchewan deserve.
We need change – we need immediate action.
With a provincial election this fall and negotiations underway in November, this is a critical time for SUN members, which is why we’ve chosen to rally on October 3rd!
