The theme of the 2023 National Nursing Week is "Our Nurses. Our Future." The COVID-19 pandemic reminded the public of the crucial role nurses play in healthcare and our communities, and this theme reflects your vital importance.
As your union representing Registered Nurses, Registered Psychiatric Nurses and Nurse Practitioners in settings across Saskatchewan, we see the dedicated and high-quality care you provide to patients and clients every single day.
This year, we asked SUN members why they love being registered nurses. Through more than 20 interviews, we didn't hear the same answer twice.
