Employees who use their vehicle for the conduct of the Employer’s business shall be reimbursed as per Article 13.01 (e) of the SUN/SAHO collective agreement.
The Saskatchewan Private Transportation Index (SPTI) has been reviewed for the period of October 2024 to January 2024 (effective April 1, 2025). This review includes Article 55.02 (e) Transportation Expense for employees who travel north of the 54th parallel.
- For travel south of the 54th parallel, the new per kilometer Transportation Rate is $$0.5665, effective April 1, 2025.
- For travel north of the 54th parallel, the new per kilometer Transportation Rate is $0.6395, effective April 1, 2025.
If you are eligible, ensure that your transportation expenses have had the appropriate adjustments made by your employer. Check your paystubs.
