Support from SUN Provincial
SUN’s Labour Relations and Professional Practice teams are well-versed in labour relations, SUN's collective agreements, nursing standards and competencies, and nursing best practices. Together they bring knowledge, expertise and experience and create a strong support system for Locals and their members.
The role of SUN's Labour Relations and Professional Practice staff is to:
- Guide Locals handling nursing concerns and day-to-day functions of the Local;
- Support Locals in escalating member concerns when appropriate; and,
- Represent and protect the interests and rights of members, with the Employer, when appropriate.
