Upcoming Events

This half-day virtual workshop, designed for Local NAC Chairs, will once again look at the complex and changing practice environment. The workshop will examine the crucial roles our NAC leaders play in educating and guiding members through the NAC process and demonstrate how to be active in finding appropriate, long-term solutions. 

WHO: 

This workshop is designed for current Local NAC Chairs or designate, as well as CBS and Extendicare local representatives. Additional Local Executive members may attend as locally funded or unfunded members.

WHEN:

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 15
Session A: 13:00-16:00

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 16
Session B: 09:00-12:00

WHERE:

This is a virtual workshop. Information to access the sessions will be provided to registered members one-two days in advance of a scheduled session.

FUNDING

• Provincially funded seats are limited to 50 seats to be divided between the sessions and will be determined by random draw.
• Provincial funding will be assigned to eligible Local NAC Chairs or designates only.
• Provincial funding for this workshop will be limited to wages.
  • As per Membership Policy 026-M-2007, wages refer to income continuance for paid union leave or 8-hours pay if attending on a day off.
• To be eligible for funding, applicants must:
  1. Select the "Requesting Provincial Funding" option when registering.
  2. Register by the applicable deadline.
