This half-day virtual workshop, designed for Local NAC Chairs, will once again look at the complex and changing practice environment. The workshop will examine the crucial roles our NAC leaders play in educating and guiding members through the NAC process and demonstrate how to be active in finding appropriate, long-term solutions.

SUN’s Education Program Has Gone Virtual!
To ensure members continue to receive the tools and resources they need to advocate for one another, the SUN's Local education program, including the Local NAC Chair workshop, has been adapted to be delivered through SUN’s Virtual Event Space powered by EventMobi.
All members need to engage in the session is a computer, tablet or smartphone with sound and an internet connection. NOTE: Google Chrome is the recommended web browser to access the workshop; Internet Explorer is not supported by the platform.

Access information will be provided to registered members 1-2 days in advance of your scheduled session.
Workshop materials will be mailed to registrants the week prior to the workshop.

FUNDING:

Provincial funding is available to attend one (1) above the above-noted session times; funding will be assigned to eligible Local NAC Chairs or designates only, CBS and Extendicare representatives.
Provincially-funded seats are limited to 50 seats between the four sessions and will be determined by random draw. For this virtual event, provincial funding will be limited to wages as per Membership Policy 026-M-2007; applicable for only one session.
To be eligible for the funding draw, members must complete the registration form by 1200 hours on February 9, 2021; selected members will be notified via email by February 10, 2021.
