On June 3, 2021, the Federal Government created a new Statutory Holiday in response to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada’s Call to Action #80.

September 30 has been declared as the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, and as such, the SUN Board of Directors has made the decision to cancel SUN’s meeting on September 30 and adjust the dates for the Annual Meeting accordingly to observe this important day.

Changes to the Annual Meeting and Education Day will be as follows:

  • The Annual Meeting will now take place on September 28, 29 and October 1.

  • Call to order is set for 9:00 am on September 28.

  • The Annual Meeting Education Day will be moved to October 27, 2021 – stay tuned for more information!

  • The virtual Fun Night will take place on the evening of September 29, 2021.
