How to Apply for Provincial Funding to Attend CFNU Biennial Convention

Funding is available for the Board of Directors and twelve (12) members to attend the CFNU Biennial Convention in Charlottetown, P.E.I. as per Board Policy 017-B-2007.

Selection of funded members to the Biennial Convention will be done by random selection. Preference will be given to those members who have not been provincially funded to attend a CFNU Biennial Convention or CLC Convention in the past two years.

If you are interested in applying for provincial funding to attend the 2023 CFNU Biennial Convention, please apply by 12:00 on February 6, 2023. The application form is available online at https://sun.swoogo.com/2023_cfnu/begin.

We are unable to have provincially-funded members select their education workshop choices as that information is not yet available. We will follow up with the provincially funded members to get their workshop choices at a later date.

While the dates of the convention are June 5th to 9th, provincially-funded members should plan for travel dates on June 4th and on June 10th. This would allow members to participate in all parts of the convention.

Members Who Are Randomly Selected for Provincial Funding

Members that are selected for funding will be contacted by email by the SUN office following the random draw. Please watch for this email as you will be required to RSVP that you intend to accept the funding.
