In recent weeks, SUN prioritized meeting with the Minister of Health, representatives from the Ministry of Health, and the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) to discuss the numerous concerns members have raised regarding the new Administrative Information Management System (AIMS).

We welcome the Government of Saskatchewan’s decision to pause the employee scheduling component of AIMS, and to revert to the previous scheduling systems and processes.

We would also like to thank SUN members for using your voice to speak up for patients, registered nurses and all your health team colleagues. Your actions and advocacy do make a difference.

SUN is committed to continuing to elevate all unresolved issues and concerns with AIMS that persist for members with decision-makers.

SUN president, Bryce Boynton, has reached out to Minister Cockrill to express appreciation for his attention to member concerns and to stress the importance of continued dialogue on resolving ongoing issues.

In the interim, we ask that members please continue to reach out to SUN by contacting your Labour Relations Officer, duty roster, or by sharing your experience using the YourVoice@sun-nurses.sk.ca inbox.

SHA Update – October 29, 2025:

“In response to the significant challenges health-system employees have reported, the Government of Saskatchewan has directed the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA), in partnership with 3sHealth and the Ministry of Health, to return employee scheduling to the previous systems and processes.”
