On Friday, June 17, 2022, SUN communicated that the Saskatchewan Health Authority had conducted a review of all vacation balances and will be paying out unused vacation credits accrued prior to April 1, 2018. SUN wishes to provide members with additional details related to the vacation bank payout.
SUN would like to clarify that we have been advised that fewer than 100 SUN members will be impacted by this vacation bank payout. Those who are affected will receive a letter directly from the SHA detailing their next steps. Letters are being mailed later this week (June 22-24). Affected members are to wait to receive their letter from the SHA and follow the enclosed directions.
