Can work be safe when home isn’t? We need your help! The on-line survey closes June 6th.

On December 6, the Canadian Labour Congress and the University of Western Ontario launched the first-ever national survey on the impact of domestic violence on workers and workplaces. All workers in Canada over the age of 15 are invited to fill out a 10 –30 minute online survey to help us learn more about this important issue.

We need your help to make sure we have good participation from all regions of Canada, from women and men, and from different perspectives and experiences.

Your voice is important, whether or not you have personally experienced or witnessed violence.

The survey does not take long. It is voluntary and anonymous. Neither your union representatives nor your employer will know whether or not you participated. In appreciation for your time, upon completion of the survey, you have the option to enter a draw for a tablet computer.

How can you help?  Fill out the survey here.

Send the link to others. Talk to your co-workers, friends and family and ask them to take part. You do not have to be a union member to participate.

Let’s work together to make workplaces safer for everyone.

Remember, the closing date for this on-line survey is June 6, 2014! Please act today!
