Linda Albert
Local 201 - Saskatoon, Other Than Base Hospitals
It is with interest and a sense of responsibility to my fellow SUN members that I am letting my name stand for nomination to the Finance Committee.
I have worked in several areas of community health, including Healthy and Home, Public Health, and Healthy Mother Healthy Baby.
I am interested in representing the members interests and bringing their diverse perspectives to the discussion.
Thank you for your support.
Kris Dutchak
Local 100 - Regina, Other Than Base Hospitals
I have been a member of SUN for more than 25 years and am eager to apply my governance, business expertise, and fiduciary experience to the finance committee, should I be elected. Over the past five years, I have successfully managed a non-profit, registered charity cooperative medical organization in Saskatchewan, leading my team to achieve five consecutive years of clean audits. This experience has deepened my understanding of the critical nature of fiduciary responsibilities to our members. I am committed to leveraging my knowledge of fiscal responsibility to contribute to the finance committee and to support the union’s continued success in the future. Fiscal responsibility is a concern among members who seek assurance that the union’s finances are managed effectively and within budget. I aim to work closely with the finance team guarantee that expenditures are appropriately allocated and that all decisions are supported by established policies and approvals.
Naticia Erhardt
Local 106 - Regina General Hospital
My name is Naticia Erhardt, and I am interested in serving on the Finance Committee to become more involved in our union and contribute to its long-term success. While I have not served on a finance committee before, I have related experience as treasurer for my children's hockey teams, where I managed budgets, tracked expenses, and ensured funds were handled responsibly and transparently.
I am actively involved with SUN Local 106 as a Nursing Advisory Committee (NAC) member, Occupational Health and Safety Committee member, and Unit Representative. I also serve
provincially on the Community Connections Committee.
Through these roles, I have developed strong skills in accountability, collaboration, and decisionmaking. I am eager to learn more about our union's financial processes and how they support members and union priorities. I would bring dedication, responsibility, and a commitment to representing members' interests.
Bonnie Nelson
Local 68 - SW3
My name is Bonnie Nelson, and I have been actively involved with SUN Union for many years. I have served as Local 68 SUN District Council Representative and Chairperson and currently hold the position of Local 68 Acute Care Vice President.
Provincially, I contributed to the Community Connections Committee, where I supported initiatives encouraging Locals to assist food banks in their communities. This experience strengthened my commitment to collaboration and responsible stewardship.
I am seeking a position on the Finance Committee to deepen my understanding of SUN’s financial operations and governance. I am confident I can contribute to reviewing and recommending the annual budget, as well as providing insight into the financial implications of policy and administrative decisions.
I am also committed to supporting oversight of expenditures, revenues, and investments with a focus on accountability, transparency, and sustainability.
Thank you for considering my nomination.
Amie Rusk
Local 62 - NE4
My name is Amie Rusk, and I am honoured to be a candidate for the SUN Finance Committee. As a Registered Nurse and proud SUN member since 2015, I bring a unique blend of frontline healthcare experience and financial knowledge to this role. Prior to nursing, I worked in the accounting field, after earning my Management Studies Certificate in 2001.
With this background, I understand budgets and financial reports, and I also know the daily realities we nurses face on the floor. I look forward to monitoring our Union's financial affairs and making sound recommendations to the Board.
As a committee member, I am committed to keeping our union financially strong and ensuring our hard-earned dues are fully transparent. Thank you for your support.
