Please take note of the following:
Salary Increase
- New wages will be implemented on June 6, 2021; please check your paystubs to ensure the appropriate wage has been applied.
- If you have any questions or concerns regarding your paystub, please contact your payroll department.
Retroactivity (Retro Pay)
- Retroactivity will be applied to hours worked between April 1, 2020, to June 5, 2021.
- Payment for retroactivity will take place on the non-pay week of August 13, 2021.
- Retro pay will be applied to all paid hours.
- Example of how retro pay will be calculated:
- Old rate: $46.72
April 1, 2020 rate: $47.19
Hours worked (paid hours) between April 1, 2020 and March 31, 2021: 1948.8
Retro owed: $0.47 X 1948.8 = $915.94
- Old rate: $46.72
April 1, 2021 rate: $48.13
Hours worked (paid hours) between April 1, 2021 and June 5, 2021: 224.1
Retro owed: $1.41 X 224.1 = $315.98
Total Retro: $915.94 + $315.98 = $1,231.92
