Hundreds of Saskatchewan’s registered nurses, nursing students and public are set to rally on October 25 over the noon hour in Regina’s Wascana Park.

The planned rally is in response to inadequate action on nursing shortages that continue to grow unabated. Further impetus for the rally stems from the startling findings of a recent survey of more than 1,600 of the province’s registered nurses, which lift the veil on a health system riddled with patient safety concerns and declining quality of care.
