As we plan for SUN’s future, it’s important to understand our history and what led us to become the strong union we are today. The solutions and feedback you, the members, provide are the key to that strength.
For over a year, SUN has prioritized forming a Nursing Task Force to ensure the voices of Saskatchewan’s registered nurses are heard. As a next step, we want to consult with you to listen to your solutions and work to build the best possible future for SUN.
That’s why to kick off the new year, Tracy Zambory, SUN President, will host a series of virtual Town Hall meetings across the province to hear directly from members about the struggles they face in their workplaces and ideas on how to address them.
Based on what we have heard from members so far, key areas to consider in advance of these meetings are:
-
What does retention include for you and your colleagues?
-
What are the needs of graduates, and how do we support them?
-
What do you need from your employer?
-
What other issues and solutions should be acted upon by decision-makers?
Have more ideas or solutions?
Make sure to mark your meeting date below in your calendar and share them with us!
Sessions will be held via Zoom for each area below at 12:00 and 19:30 CST on their respective date.
