Representatives from Saskatchewan Union of Nurses (SUN), Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) and Saskatchewan Association of Health Organizations (SAHO) met over four days in December to continue discussions on the content of the proposal packages exchanged in November. Definitions, housekeeping items, language clarity, and structure were the main topics covered in December.    

 

Through six days at the table in January, and most recently from January 21 to 23 the parties continued conversations on priority issues. The January 21 to 23 dates included a number of good discussions and SUN’s Negotiations Committee was pleased to see some progress on definitions and language clarity, which led to the parties signing off on several important housekeeping items.

 

The next set of bargaining dates are scheduled to begin on February 11, 2025.
