The Next Up application deadline for Saskatoon is coming up September 19 and for Regina it is October 7.
Target Audience: 18-32 year-olds who are committed to social and environmental justice. Looking to reach young Indigenous people, people of colour, LGBTQ+ people, people with disabilities, people who have had fewer educational opportunities, and other equity-seeking groups.
Spread the Word! Here are some ways you can help:
1) Talk to people directly about the program. People often need the direct encouragement. Once you've talked to them, you might send them the attached FAQ and/or send them the link to the website where they can read more and download the application package: http://nextup.ca/callout_2016
2) Put up the poster in your office or organizations you visit and leave a few FAQs (pdf) with the poster (pdf) for people to take.
3) Share the photos we are posting on facebook every few days.
4) Bring friends to the info sessions on September 7 & 8 in Regina and September 12 & 15 in Saskatoon. These sessions are a great chance for people to learn about the program and having some of you there as alumni and/or supporters of the program to help pump people up to apply would be really helpful!
