SUN has been advised that the Employer has ratified the new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
With ratification by both sides, the terms of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) are now in effect. Click here to view the MOA
Please take note of the following:
Salary Increase
- New wages will be implemented on January 31; please check your paystubs to ensure the appropriate wage has been applied.
- If you have any questions or concerns regarding your paystub, please contact your payroll department.
Retroactivity
- Retroactivity will be applied to hours worked between April 1, 2020, to January 30, 2021.
- SUN and SAHO are currently working on the details regarding the reimbursement of retro-pay.
- Please watch your emails for additional information as it becomes available.
Disbursement of CBA
- SUN and SAHO are currently working on the logistics concerning the new collective agreement.
- Once the changes captured within the MOA have been implemented into the CBA, an electronic copy of the agreement (PDF) will be posted to our website and communicated to members.
- Following production, hard copies (printed) of the CBA will be sent to each local to distribute to their membership.
