It is with great sadness that we share the death of our valued SUN staff member, Margot Wallace, who passed away surrounded by loved ones on November 13th, 2024.

Margot joined SUN as a Labour Relations Officer in 1997 and in

her 27 years with the organization,

has served members from every corner of the province. Margot was highly spirited, and those who knew her would never part company without an entertaining story or a laugh. But even more so, she was highly committed to improving registered nurses' working conditions and their ability to provide safe patient care.

 

Margot will be remembered as an activist, a friend, and a passionate champion for registered nurses in Saskatchewan. Her many contributions will be missed and remembered.
