Members of the Saskatchewan Union of Nurses (SUN) working at the All Nations Healing Hospital in Fort Qu’Appelle have voted 100% in favour of ratifying a new two-year collective agreement. This comes after a tentative agreement was reached in late October after less than one day of bargaining.
"This is great news and shows just how well collective bargaining can and does work under existing legislation," says SUN President, Rosalee Longmoore. "Too often these success stories - of which there are many - are overshadowed by labour disputes that are by no means the norm."
