The University of Saskatchewan has two colleges that have recently donated critical supplies to Saskatchewan front line health workers. The extraordinary times definitely call for extra measures.
The College of Kinesiology is proud to provide:
• 79 cases of gloves
• 2 cases of disinfectant wipes
• 1 gallon of surface disinfectant
• 4 1L bottles of hand sanitizer
The College of Engineering are proud to donate more than 60 N95 masks to help protect Saskatchewan’s front line health workers.
These circumstances have brought out a mass response from the university, as faculty and staff have come together to help donate more than 1000 masks, other Personal Protective Equipment.
“We are in close contact with 3S Health, the arm that handles the Saskatchewan Health Authority’s procurement and supply chain. We have consolidated our holdings of materials that they may find useful, and we have provided them the list with the intent of transferring anything they need over to them as soon as they ask,” said Richard LeBlanc, director of enterprise procurement with finance and resources.
Donations have come from all around campus, as the university believes it is critical that we support each other and remain respectful during what is a difficult time for all of us.
