The 2021 virtual Annual Meeting and Education Day has been rescheduled for September 28 - October 1, 2021.

To ensure members are able to have voice and engage in the democratic process, the business portion of the Annual Meeting will be hosted on the Zoom platform, while voting on motions, resolutions, and elections will take place using the online voting service, Election Buddy.

REGISTRANT TYPES

There are six (6) different registrant types to choose from - each connected to a funding category:

1. SUN Board of Directors

2. Provincial Committee Member or Member appointed to External Committee

3. SDC Chairperson or alternate

4. SDC Representative or alternate

5. Lifetime Member

6. General Member - Locally Funded or Unfunded member

PROVINCIAL FUNDING

As per Membership Policy 039-M-2017, the following members shall receive provincial funding to attend the 2021 Annual Meeting:

1. SUN Board of Directors

2. Provincial Committee Member or Member appointed to External Committee

3. SDC Chairperson or alternate

4. SDC Representative or alternate

SUN members not fitting into one of the above funding categories are encouraged to speak to the Local Executive or SDC Council Representative and/or SDC Chair as soon as possible to request funding to attend the Annual Meeting.

SUN members are welcome and encouraged to attend the Annual Meeting and Education Day as an unfunded member.

Youth Funding Draw

As per Membership Policy 039-­M-­2017, funding shall be available for one youth representative (up to age 30 at time of event) from each SUN region to attend the Annual Meeting.

To be eligible for youth funding, applicable members must register as a Youth Delegate and select YES to apply for youth funding. Youth representatives must register prior to the deadline of 1200 hours on September 13, 2021.

If there is more than one request for funding per Region, Youth funding will be allocated by random selection.
