On January 20, 2018 SUN will march in solidarity with women and human rights groups across Canada and the world to show there is still so much work to do to protect and advance the rights of women everywhere.

SUN is a proud supporter of Women’s March Canada. As a union we know that when we work together and speak with one voice we become a powerful force for a better world.

“I’m marching on January 20th because in 2018, women in my Saskatchewan, and my Canada, should not still be fighting for equality on so many fronts. Combating gender-based violence and ensuring women have equal opportunities for economic security and equal access to education and health, are not just women’s rights issues - they are human rights issues. This march is symbolic of our need for real and substantial change,” says SUN President, Tracy Zambory, RN. “I’m marching because I believe in this movement, and I believe that we all have a role to play in building a stronger, better and more equal Canada.”
